Meet The Grindbergs: Sam Jones, a comedy writer with a NYC cult following and Mike Banat, a music curator with over 15 years of industry experience. The couple brings sexiness and high energy to the DJ booth, playing a relevant and vibrant mix of uncharted house, hip-hop and tasteful remixes, as well as danceable classics. Champions of new and undiscovered music, The Grindbergs are purveyors of the unexpected, amounting to memorable experiences and good times for all.
Past clients include Porsche, Nike, Adidas, Microsoft, Dell, Mountain Dew, Café Bustelo, Saints Row, Kiehl’s and Shick, as well as cool-kid outfits like hotel Mondrian South Beach Hotel (LAND x OHWOW Party during Art Basel Miami Beach), fashion designer Brandon Sun and cosmetic company, Julep. Past residencies include W Hotel, Mono+Mono, Piano’s, Mercury Lounge and at numerous private and corporate event spaces in NYC, LA and Miami. The Grindbergs were also the official tour DJ for Johnny Polygon, a hip-hop artist from Tulsa, Oklahoma whom has recorded with Adele, Nas and Kid Cudi.
