Her work doesn’t just capture imagination—it delivers measurable results for Paramount’s brand partners. Passionate about authentic storytelling, Sam ensures every project resonates, making audiences feel seen and understood. She fosters a creative environment that embraces diversity and inclusivity, both on-screen and off.
Before devoting her life to writing and content creation, Sam Jones was known as The Leather Queen. As Chief Marketing Officer of Libra Leather, she transformed the 30-year-old New York-based company from a wholesale leather hide warehouse into North America’s go-to resource for high-end leather. Over her five-year tenure, she advised celebrity clients like Kanye West, Lady Gaga, and Katie Holmes, as well as other figures in entertainment, fashion, and design.
A Tastemaker and DJ: Beyond content, Sam curates music for brands such as Nike, Revlon, Porsche, Kiehl’s, Cadillac, and Dior, among others. She does this as part of "The Grindbergs," a collaboration with her business and life partner Mike Banat.
Life Beyond Work: In December 2020, this native New Yorker traded her MetroCard for a riding lawn mower, moving to Greene County, where she co-owns Goodies Bagels in Catskill, NY. Sam also writes CIDIOT IN THE WILD, a monthly column for Porcupine Soup, the county’s local newspaper, and occasionally gallivants around town as a Sasquatch named Yetta.
